We took the kids to Crown Center to visit Santa. Cash was less than thrilled with Santa himself, however he enjoyed the Crayola wonderland very much. Saturday the boys had a "sleepover" and Tina got some really great pics of the boys after their baths. Great for blackmail later in life! :D I hope you all are enjoying this busy holiday season!

Pumpkin Patch

Sunset Safari

Quick Trip to Chicago

We made a quick weekend trip up to Chicago to visit Jeff. We made it to the Lincoln Park Zoo and this was the only pic we took! Oops!

Cash has a new word this week. He said it plain as day at Gymboree when the teacher started blowing bubbles. He doesn't always use it appropriately, however I think that it still counts!

Okaboji

Last weekend we made the trek to Okaboji! We had a great time on the lake seeing old friends. On Saturday the weather was pretty cool so we took Cash and his friend Kyra to Arnold's Park. First day of "School"

I think it is so cute!

So Cash started a Mommy's Day Out program on Tuesday. He goes two days a week for about 5 hours. I have to say when I dropped him off, I got a little teary eyed.

This is one of hos teachers and I took the picture right before he went into the classroom. The two kids that went in before him screamed their heads off, so as you can see on his face, he wasn't too sure.

This is Cash with his other teacher when I picked him up. He loved it! They said he didn't cry at all and that he had a blast. I sure hope so, since he only took a 45 minute nap the whole day! Anyway, I hope that it continues to go well and he keeps having fun!

15 month check up

Cash had his 15 month check up this week. All is well - he weighs 24 pounds 10 ounces (51%) and is 32 inches tall (77%). I think that they may have mismeasured his height! Anyway, we are lucky to have a happy, healthy boy!

Play Date at the Park!

We had a play date with Aubrey and Luke and Lily the other day! It was wonderful weather, especially for August. The kids had a fantastic time! Friday Night BBQ

We went to a BBQ on Friday night. As usual, I came unprepared. I wasn't aware that they were going to have a small baby pool, so I didn't bring any swim diapers. Well, of course my little guy dove right in. This is why he is wearing the large inflated diaper and no clothes. When the cake and ice cream came out he was pysched. Jeff couldn't feed him fast enough - I'm sure your shocked!

What a perfect Friday evening. We had so much fun and Cash even made a new friend!

We got together with the Haskins and the Mattoxes for a little play date. At home we have been trying to teach Cash that he is not supposed to push the TV buttons - mommy's trying to watch Ellen! :D Anyway, Luke was trying to help me out. Soooooo cute!

Weekend In Okaboji!

Gymboree Fun!

Every week Cash and I attend Gymboree classes. I originally started going so that I could meet other mommies with children my age. I have made some great friends and so has Cash. He really truly loves going and exploring all of the equipment and hanging out with his friends.
